Since I was a child, I have manifested a strong predisposition for words, developing the ability to read and write even before starting school. At the same time, I used to absorb both the movies I'd watched and the video games I'd played in a way that made me want to get involved in the whole creative process. My first original movie and video game concepts emerged at that time, thanks to technologies such as: paper, scissors, pen, colouring markers and Playmobil.

At 12 years old, I made my first contact with video editing through the classic Windows Movie Maker, allowing me to tell stories that were meticulously planned and filmed in low definition with a rudimentary photography camera. Some time after that, my curiosity led me to attempt developing my own video games, first in HTML with Microsoft Front Page, then one step ahead through Game Maker, which contained latest generation graphics created with Microsoft Paint, as well as highly immersive sounds recorded with a computer microphone. At 16, I ventured into music and started to create my own compositions with FL Studio’s virtual synths.

A few years later, I got a degree in Film and, naturally, after graduating I went back to video games, releasing my first game for smartphones. Despite being a simple one and contemplated as a process of trial and error, this was my first experience with programming, and a distinction in a talent contest gave me the enthusiasm to carry on.

Later that year, I enrolled in a master’s in Communication Sciences, where I opted for the Contemporary Culture and New Technologies speciality and, at the same time, I started work as a video editor. To finish my master’s, I authored a thesis titled «Narrative: The Cradle of Morality», where I analyse the psychological processes that justify the importance of storytelling for the human condition.

After finishing my studies, I decided to effectively start learning game design with Unity through tutorials and experimentation. Thanks to this, so far I have published several projects which allowed me to develop my skills in this field to an extent that reaches far beyond what I envisioned as a mere hobby.

Meanwhile, I keep writing and, whenever the opportunity strikes, I also work with video, since I cannot disassociate any of these three activities from me.
